Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 16, 2012 - The Georgia Alliance for Aesthetic Professionals (GAAP) held its second annual Crystal Awards Gala in Atlanta, Georgia on June 29, 2012. Awards were presented to aesthetic professionals who have been extraordinary leaders, educators and mentors in their field. Jocelyn Ash, Lead Instructor for the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, a division of Atlanta School of Massage, was one of five honored at the Gala.
Atlanta School of Massage President, Leticia Allen, presented the award to Jocelyn. “As an educator Jocelyn goes above and beyond the definition. She empowers her students to excel and succeed. Those of us who have had the pleasure of working with her are inspired by Jocelyn’s keen intellect, work ethic, strength of character, kindheartedness, generosity and grace,” said Allen.
Jocelyn’s work and training over the past 14 years nationally and internationally has included certification in over 5 major skincare lines, Microdermabrasion & Manual Lymphatic Drainage. As a Lead Instructor for the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, she has helped provide curriculum development & staff training in addition to teaching. As a dedicated advocate of professional development, she is also a continuing education provider and published writer.
GAAP was founded by Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics graduates, Kimberly Russell and Kali Waldron in 2009. GAAP fosters growth and provides tools that aid in the overall success and business ventures of aesthetics professionals. Members unite collectively to build an elite presence of excellence within their industry. Numerous members are graduates of Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, which holds the same standards of excellence in aesthetics education and training.
